Some 5,000 years have passed since His appearance on earth, yet today devotees continue to honor this largest and most important of all festivals for Vaisnavas and Hindus in general, in a festive spirit.
自從五千多年前祂顯現在地球上一直到今天，奎師那的奉獻者和所謂印度教徒們以節慶的心情持續地榮耀著這個在所有的節日中最偉大和最重要的一個。
For the devotee, this auspicious day is filled with reading from scriptures and offering of prayers.
在這個吉祥的日子，奉獻者們以閱讀經典、讚誦禱文並且唱頌。
Many may observe fasting throughout the day until midnight, the auspicious moment when the Lord made His appearance.
這一天，有許多人斷食到半夜迎接著主奎師那顯現的吉祥時刻。
People gather in the temple waiting anxiously for the stroke of midnight, which is greeted by blasts of the conch shell horn and enthusiastic chanting of the names of the Lord such as the Hare Krishna mantra:
此時大家聚集在廟裡熱切地等待這個吉祥時刻的到來，吹著海螺號角，熱情地唱頌主的名字來迎接祂，唱頌著”哈瑞-奎師那”曼陀羅：
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare.
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare.
哈瑞-奎師那 哈瑞-奎師那 奎師那-奎師那 哈瑞-哈瑞。
哈瑞-茹阿瑪 哈瑞-茹阿瑪 茹阿瑪-茹阿瑪 哈瑞-哈瑞。
